Hello friends, foes and spies, I'm back again after a long run, confronting with the devil, circus, affection, bad computers, deadlines and walking the thin line. How are you all? Im fine as ever, still alive...though life is pretty hectic, there are many factors contributing to my temporal disappearence.......been negotiating a deal with my reflection.....trying to convince myself that i am not mad.....beauty is a myth....

its a lazy Monday here at World Harmony Internet Cafe, Hanoi...just had lunch, we came back last night after 10 hrs of bumpy ride and, everyone is just chilling out and feeling lazy.....Singapore oh Singapore.....Im worried about the progress of Dark Room Devil....just received e-mail form Substation and they are like looking for all the necessary admin and budget cut out.....nvm that, I will settle these with the guys when I get back this wednesday night.....boy, Sapa was fantastic nad Bac HA as well......met Chen who was born in Germany and been living in Berlin for 25 years.....the tribes were beautiful and the mountain...I can't describe with words....its just there....u know so real....went to a kitchen of a restaurant stop over and saw a chihuahua got skinned......and they Vietnamese artists had dog meat for lunch....I couldnt swallow my food ...just had lotsa veggie and rice....sad scene....The bac Ha market was madness.....the people were trading animals...screaming pigs and crying donkeys....dinghy restaurant where the tribes and the farmers having meals....the scene looked like in history books back in the late 1800.....it was an exciting trip...really .....we got hassle by small little cute Hmong tribes...like characters from Star Wars....I wrote some texts...inspired from this trip.....I believe there will be a set of new songs for Tiramisu........fantastic....not sure of whts happeing in Singapore......I can't wait to go bach and share this experience.......its nice here in Hanoi....but there are things to settle in Singapore.....while I was in the van.....I saw this smalll little Kampong houses by the vast paddy field.....a group of farmers, children....all watching television....the world is the television?? In Vietnam people are so surpressed.....they have problems having to express ther inner feelings...but the Hmong tribes...they are so inspiring....they live in the mountains.....the kids, they don't go to school....they just swim in the river and play with the cows....the shepard kids....they sing.......they just sing.....

...we arrived at Sapa around midnight, had dinner in a restaurant...too bad tht Spanish mad man, Thomas couldnt be with us...yeah together with 13 people.....including ouw yeun...the professor from VFA were with us.....shitezer...I thought its a remote place....but gawd its quite well equipped.....with technology and everything else.....I didnt know that Sapa is a touristy place....but shit who cares....everything is paid for....beginning to miss home actually....the food.....been eating noodles noodles and nothing but noodles....sometimes rice.....but ok cant complaint.....the mountain is fantastic.....though its a bumpy ride with the rocks and everything...the guys are fine as well....yeah got my jew harps form the tribes....and a couple of bangles.....well, u gotta pay some money to take photo with the tribe.....we will be heading to the bottom tomorroe....ok then...will write again once we reach town on the 16th...

greetings my Singapore Slinkies....havent had the time to update this blog, been busy with the show, last night was the opening, the singapore ambassador came to open the show, been meeting lotsa people....met 2 nice expat ladies from france, caroline and Sophie....did a a performance at their place....actually wanted to do a performance for the opening but I didnt feel good...scary....
we were interviewed by a flock of journalists and it was really bizarre....we had a bad hangover and had to talk 2 a journalist from Hanoi Moi newspaper...and we were like looking at the wall......it was really funny....they took our photo...I think we all looked lost....yeah, we have been having late nights since the day we stepped our foot in Hanoi....this morning we had a discussion with some students and lecturers from Vietnam Fine Art University.......it was nice....they went ga-ga over my journal....and I had to give a photo from my portfolio to a journalist...and she asked for my autograph.....told them I sing in the band.....and they asked whether Tiramisu wants to play in Hanoi....yeah its been wild....we are alwasy late for our appoinments...and they had to knock our door in the morning to remind us the students are waiting downstairs....damn funny....ok I will be back on the 18th September...just in time for Thursday Theory lesson with Margaret.....will be going tracking tomorrow......in Sapa........so c u all...chumps.......may god bless the restless soul....

...had a jolly good lunch in the afternoon, we've been clubbing since the first day....sunday is working day....the guys worked at the gallery whole I chilled out in my room with doing my drawings....Dong came down to check out on us.....yesterday we met new frens frm Amsterdam and this cute girl frm Tokyo, all working in Hilton hotel.....the streets so lovely in the early morning..peaceful....sometimes I feel like as if im in a Vietnamese film.....we went fr street strolling in the evening...wanted to see a water puppet show...but they wanted 2 but some souveniers....yah bought a small mini drum......we've been slacking...life is just 2 slow....and ciggarettes are cheap.....had a viet kopi kong....it wus kick ass....but we are young we are free.....and carefree.....they have just erected a big banner outside the centre....Im talking real big....like huge and long.....and the flyers are all out.....tomorrow we have to start nailing the works already.......ok c yall...lve manic....ok yes I have 2 extend my stay....because on an expedition 2 a lili mountain in SApa......cheers!!

Chao nang....had a really good lunch this afternoon...somewhere in the town area.....visited a nice artist space at Westlake...yes its by a big lake....a real lake...not man-made....the guys are asking mr to extend my stay here in Hanoi...because they will be going to Sapa.....a mini mountain...upnorth...Im still considering....they are psycho-ing me.....but there are so many things to do back in Singapore...but Hanoi is beautiful.....bought 2 bamb flutes...and I will be buying some jew harps today.....all fr abt $1.20......and bought lotsa cds....coltrane,davies..hancock.....had 2 much beer again....i think my stomache is bloated.....but will c u again soon.....::manic::
